“Movement is Life, without Movement, Life is Unthinkable”
- This is a statement made by Dr Moshe Feldenkrais, the founder of the Method: movement is something we generally take for granted, often not stopping to think about it much til we can’t do it so well for whatever reason – sprain an ankle, get a bad back, or are just ‘getting on a bit’.
Something else Dr Feldenkrais said, “When you don’t know how you act, you can’t do what you want...” Through this Method it is possible to recover the natural agility a healthy child has, often in spite of age!
Benefits
The following lists some of the conditions that Feldenkrais has proven positive results for:

Kinesiology has become the fastest growing natural approach to rectifying health problems in the US .In this country, many physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and physical therapists are using Kinesiological techniques. They achieve unusually quick results with many problems, which have previously resisted all attempts to gain relief by traditional methods.

Contact John
Master Practitioner of NLP, John has been working in Plymouth for 6 years, and as well as helping hundreds of people to quit smoking, he regularly sees those who wish assistance with a wide variety of issues such as anxiety, confidence, weight management and other long standing difficulties.
His work is based on the NLP belief that each of us has all the resources needed to solve our own problems. The reason we did not use them before is maybe we did not know they were there. John practices teaching a variety of techniques such as visualisation,- one he successfully practices in his own life. He is happy to pass on all these skills to those people he regularly sees in the course of his work.

Touch is positive and instinctive and is practiced by all mammals. It is as natural as a mother rubbing a child’s knee after a fall. A nurturing massage with oil and healing hands can help recovery and give you a great feeling of well-being.
Massage is a great accompaniment to correct diet, posture and exercise helping to:
- Relieve aches, pain and stiffness.
- Remove waste products from muscles.
- Tone muscles.
- Reduce stress.
- Relax the body both physically and mentally.
- Improve venous and lymphatic circulation.
Sports Massage is ideal for active individuals who may need a fast recovery time or need to remove lactic acid before they compete. It is equally beneficial on a long term maintenance program. It is a deep tissue massage that helps ease muscle spasm and encourage healing of the soft tissue. It is also good for muscle atrophy, improving circulation,
toning muscles and removing waste products.

It is true to some extent that we are what we eat. Many of us will have heard of foods which are helpful in particular ways, but may be confused by what seems to be conflicting advice. As a Nutritional Therapist I can suggest which foods could be of most benefit to you personally, and which foods you might find it better to avoid.
Nutritional Therapy treats each client as an individual, taking into account every aspect of your diet and lifestyle.
Nutritional therapy aims to empower clients to change their biochemistry to a more balanced state. Conditions helped by nutritional therapy range from general un-wellness to more chronic complaints, such as fatigue, depression, migraine, skin complaints and digestive problems.
